Sadly, Marysville & District Historical Society's memorabilia were lost in the fire. Reg and Mary Kenealy packed a lot of this material into a trailer, but were unable to take them in the hectic evacuation.
You can help save our heritage to pass on to your children.
If we don't preserve it now, it is lost forever; but it doesn't need much effort....

Do you have any photographs like the following?
Marylands 1947, with thanks to Lulybelle
What can you do?
Please look in your photo collections. Ask your parents or grandparents. Any photos of the area - Marysville, Granton, Narbethong, Buxton, etc - are welcome. They do not need to be "old" photos - in 30 years your children will be asking "What did Marysville look like in 2009 before the fires?"
What happens to my photos?
We only need copies, and we'll do the copying if you prefer. Originals donated are much appreciated, but we understand that this is not always appropriate.
How do I do this?
Contact (or send to) Graham or Norm. Graham will happily scan/copy photos and return them to owner.
Please post any photos on this flickr site set up for this purpose.
